Bu11c - Modeling Enterprise Architecture Transformations
Abstract
A rapidly changing business environment, regulatory development, and technological advancements constantly impose changes on the modern enterprise. Thus, the ability to perform EA transformations in a timely manner has attracted growing attention recently within the eld of EA planning. Based on the dierent EA planning perspectives, numerous models and modeling techniques have been developed and examined over the last few years. Yet, the question "How do these perspectives of EA planning interrelate?" remains unanswered. This paper focuses on the ways in which different perspectives of EA transformation - activities, replacements, and lifecycles - can be modeled as add-ons for EA models and the ways they interrelate.
