Currently running Projects

Austrian Center for Digital Production

The Austrian Center for Digital Production supports companies in the digitalization and automation of discrete manufacturing and production processes

Advanced Optimization in a Networked Economy (AdONE)

AdONE develops new mathematical models and computational methods for efficient resource allocation and coordination among multiple parties in dynamic logistics networks, transportation, and mobility systems.

TRPro: Taming the Impact of Regulatory Document Changes on Process Compliance

The DFG funded project addresses process compliance, i.e., the verification of process-related information such as process models, process descriptions, and process event logs/streams against regulatory documents and constraints imposed on the processes. Regulatory documents comprise regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulations, ISO norms, and internal quality guidelines. The main question is how to determine the effects of regulatory changes on process compliance and how to tame the complexity of concurrent regulatory and process changes.

BPAIS: Building LLMs and Semantic Models for the Process Modeling and Mining Pipeline

The project aims at investigating the opportunities of employing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Semantic Models in different phases of the process life cycle, in particular, when creating and redesigning process models and during process analysis and mining. The idea is to support humans in these life cycle phases, i.e., the process modelers and analysts as well as the domain experts. The latter is the main goal of conversational process modeling, i.e., the creation and redesign of process models by the domain expert in interaction with a chatbot.
