Abstract
The goal of the project is to develop a fully autonomous, ultrasound-guided robotic system for spinal injections.
The objectives of the project are:
- Design the trajectory planning and robot control to ensure the ultrasound probe correctly scans the Region of Interest (ROI).
- Developing ultrasound processing methods to automatically detect relevant anatomical features and segment bones on ultrasound images.
- Developing registration methods to register pre-operative data to intra-operative ultrasound to guide the injection procedure.
