Event at the Munich Center for Internet Research - Machen Computer dumm? Zur Beziehung zwischen digitalen Medien und Bildung


You are cordially invited to our upcoming event at the Munich Center for Internet Research. The event comprises a keynote discussing the topic of "How does digitalization affect education?" followed by a podium discussion. The even will take place on November 22nd, 2016 at 18:00 at the Bavarian Academy for Science, Alfons-Goppel-Str. 11 (Residenz).

The keynote, entitled "Machen Computer dumm? Zur Beziehung zwischen digitalen Medien und Bildung" will be given by Prof. Dr. Heidi Schelhowe, Professor for "Digital Media in Education" and member of the dimeb group at the University of Bremen.

The panelists are:

  • Prof. Dr. Frank Fischer, Institute for Empirical Pedagogy and Pedagogical Psychology, LMU
  • Peter Schwertschlager, Principal at St. Anna high school, Augsburg (School for Media Education)
  • Gerhard Seiler, Strategy & Corporate Innovation, 21st Century Competence Center, Berlin 

The panel is moderated by Prof. Dr. Ursula Münch, professor at the Bundeswehr University, Munich and the  Academy for political Education in Tutzing and board member at the MCIR.
