Joshua Voigt: Default signal values for hardware in the loop systems
SCCS Colloquium |
Modern verification in the automotive industry depends heavily on hardware-in-the-loop-systems. These are used to validate electronic control unit software. The rising test complexity introduces complexity into the simulation. Especially staticially simulated signals have proven difficult to adapt to the new circumstances.
This work develops evaluation strategies based on stochastic methods to generate values for these static values. These are then applied to measurements from the BMW test fleet. The second part introduces a method to replay real drives on hardware in the loop systems. Based on these, the static values are compared on their realism.
