The Chair of Information Infrastructures (ii) took part in the Global Technology Forum (GTF) 2025, hosted at TUM Campus Heilbronn. The three-day international event brought together academic experts, industry leaders, and research partners to explore the future of artificial intelligence (AI), responsible digital transformation, and collaborative innovation. Among others this years participants came from ETC Zürich, HEC Paris, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, University of Oxford, Standford University, and of course Technical University Munich.
Throughout the forum, the ii chair joined key sessions and activities. Prof. Ali Sunyaev, who also acted as host of the event, joined the Panel Discussion: “AI-Powered Futures” and shared insights on responsible, human-centered and trustworthy AI ecosystems.
Philipp Toussaint and Florian Leiser presented their work at the workshopa focusing on AI in healthcare.
The Networking Dinner & Partner Exchange enabled discussions on research collaboration, project development, and strategic partnerships at the beautiful Weingut Albrecht Kiessling as well as the Alte Rederei.
Participation in the Global Technology Forum enhanced the ii team’s international engagement, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, and supports ongoing research aimed at developing responsible, transparent, and socially aligned AI systems.
