IDT Seminar Kick-off

The Chair of information infrastructure has successfully launched the IDT (Innovation and Digital Transformation) seminar at TUM Campus Heilbronn for the first time. Prof. Sunyaev conducted the kick-off session with eight master's students, marking a significant milestone for digital transformation education at the campus.

This semester marks the premiere of the IDT seminar in Heilbronn, running in parallel with the established program at SAP Labs Munich. Together, more than 20 master's students across both locations are working on real-world case studies from leading industry partners including SAP, LÄPPLE, Festo, Henkel, AGILITA, and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

The kick-off featured engaging discussions and practical insights into digital transformation challenges, with a particular focus on the role of artificial intelligence in shaping business futures.

The seminar is co-led by Gerhard Oswald and Prof. Dr. Ali Sunyaev, bringing together academia and industry expertise. The Chair of Prof. Sunyaev looks forward to the innovative ideas and outcomes that will emerge from this pioneering semester.
