Working Student Position in Participatory AI and the EU AI Act - with Chiara Ullstein
About the position: We are seeking a motivated student to support research activities relating to compliance with the EU AI Act and participatory AI. The focus areas are risk and impact assessments, and participatory AI governance structures and mechanisms. Depending on the student's qualifications, tasks may include assisting with literature research, organising and conducting workshops, transcribing recordings, carrying out qualitative content analysis, developing an interactive online tool, and analysing quantitative surveys. These tasks will be adapted to suit the successful applicant. This position would be of interest to someone who would like to gain experience in conducting academic research.
Conditions: 8h/week, 4 months (extension tbd), start ideally in December
