Bio
Yuchao Huang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology of the Technical University of Munich, affiliated with the Chair of Software Engineering and AI. His research focuses on software engineering, large language models, mobile application testing, and the reliability of LLM-based agents.
He received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS) in 2025, where he also completed his master's degree under the supervision of Prof. Qing Wang. His doctoral research focused on automated bug reproduction for mobile applications, including crash reproduction directly from stack traces and context-aware reproduction from bug reports. His broader work investigates the application and evaluation of large language models in software testing, as well as coverage-guided fuzzing of neural code models.
His research has been published at leading software engineering venues including ICSE and ESEC/FSE, as well as in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering and IEEE Transactions on Reliability.
