About
Doctoral candidate at the Information Systems chair, School of Computation Information and Technology, Technical University of Munich. Joined the research group in April 2023.
Research Interests
I am researching how semantic technologies, such as Knowledge Graphs, can be integrated into Business Process Technology in order to provide interpretable and grounded process execution support based on jointly encoded process and domain knowledge.
My further research interests include:
- (Intelligent) Process Automation
- Business Process Simulation
- Software Engineering

Thesis Supervision
I am offering thesis topics related to the integration of semantic technologies, primarily Knowledge Graphs, into business process execution support.
Generally, these relate to (i) extracting process knowledge from sources such as event logs and text, (ii) encoding process knowledge using semantic technologies, and (iii) using encoded knowledge for process execution support, such as decision support and process intelligence.
I offer more technical topics, with the option to work with and extend our prototype knowledge-graph-based business process management system KARIBDIS, as well as some more theoretical ones relating to the kinds and nature of process knowledge.
Have a look at the chair theses page for concrete topic inspiration and for more information on the thesis application process at our chair.
