Burak Öz

Burak Öz is a research associate at the chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems at TU Munich since August 2021. He holds a master's degree in Informatics from TU Munich. During his master's studies, he developed a geographical visualization tool for the FUEL bidding language which is used in the paper "Taming the Communication and Computation Complexity of Combinatorial Auctions: The FUEL Bid Language" by Bichler et al. (2022)
Anum Afzal

Anum is a Ph.D. candidate at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on efficiency and domain adaptation of large language models. Since September 2021, she has been a researcher at the sebis chair and supports the SAP @ TUM Collaboration Lab through the Industry on Campus initiative. Her work includes domain-specific text summarization and applying LLMs in business contexts, in collaboration with SAP and Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.

Felix Hoops is a research associate at the chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems at Technical University of Munich (TUM) since May 2021.He holds a master's degree in Informatics from TUM and wrote his thesis on "Threat Analysis, Evaluation, and Mitigation for Smart Contracts Endorsed by TLS/SSL Certificates".During his studies, Mr. Hoops spent a semester abroad at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Peter Kuhn
Peter Kuhn started his PhD studies at the chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems at Technical University of Munich (TUM) in May 2021. He works at fortiss, Research Institute of the Free State of Bavaria for software-intensive systems, and investigates platform ecosystems in the public sector. He holds a master's degree in economics from Università Cattolica in Milan, Italy and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from TUM.

Tobias Müller started his PhD studies at the chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems at Technical University of Munich (TUM) in May 2021. In cooperation with SAP SE, he currently investigates how privacy-preserving techniques can enhance data privacy and trust in federated machine learning applications. He holds a master's degree in computer science from LMU.
