Research on Human–AI Collaboration Presented at EJIS Special Issue Workshop

During the workshop, Nils Ness presented ongoing research on the role of cognitive responsibility in Human–AI collaboration. The project investigates how different allocations of cognitive responsibility between humans and AI systems influence cognitive load and collaborative task performance.
The workshop provided valuable feedback from the Special Issue Editors and fellow researchers. In addition, the presented projects covered a broad range of contemporary NeuroIS topics and offered inspiring perspectives on the cognitive and behavioral effects of emerging digital technologies. The discussions will help further refine the project and strengthen its contribution to the growing field of Human–AI collaboration research.
