IDT Seminar Kick-off

This semester, the IDT seminar evolves further in Heilbronn. Over 20 master’s students from Munich and Heilbronn work on applied case studies with industry partners such as SAP, Schwarz Digits, Exyte, Sartorius, Fraunhofer, and Bosch.

The opening session moved beyond a traditional kick-off. It centered on structured exchanges around current transformation efforts, with a clear focus on how artificial intelligence reshapes decision-making, processes, and business design. Even Thomas Saueressig, Member of the Executive Board of SAP, joined remotely from New York to share his perspective on digital transformation and engage in a Q&A with the students.

The seminar is co-led by Gerhard Oswald and Prof. Dr. Ali Sunyaev, integrating perspectives from practice and research. The Chair of Prof. Sunyaev anticipates great insights and actionable outcomes from this semester’s cases.
