Bio
Muhammad El-Hindi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Decentralized Information Systems and Data Management, which he joined in August 2025. He earned his Ph.D. from TU Darmstadt in 2023, where he also spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher focusing on secure cloud databases. His current research focuses on cloud-native data systems, with an emphasis on designing high-performance, cost-efficient services such as write-ahead logging (WAL) and distributed page servers. Beyond data management, Muhammad’s interests span distributed systems and the formal verification of distributed protocols, aiming to make large-scale systems more reliable, secure, and efficient.
