Our research group was founded in 1987 at the University of Hohenheim as the Chair for Information Systems. In 2002, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Helmut Krcmar followed the call of the Technical University of Munich. In October 2020, Helmut Krcmar became Professor emeritus and the former chair became the KrcmarLab. As a research group, KrcmarLab is embedded in the Chair for Information Systems and BPM. Currently, our team consists of 19 members and engages in a variety of research and project work on "IT for matters that matter".

New Advanced Practical Course: Building Digital Workflows with the Enterprise Platform ServiceNow

The Chair of Information Systems is thrilled to announce a new advanced practical course for the upcoming semester. We offer this course in cooperation with ServiceNow, a fast-growing platform for workflow management led by former SAP CEO Bill McDermott. ServiceNow helps their customers to innovate by enabling them to manage their end-to-end processes in digital workflows.
In the first part of the virtual and interactive course, students will be introduced to the platform and its functionalities. In the second part, students will be provided with real-world challenges that they will solve in teams. The virtual kick-off will take place on the 12th of April from 9.00am until noon.
